Where will the World Trials 2017 take place?

The trial is to be held in Hoogwoud, which is part of the City of Opmeer. Hoogwoud is located in the province of North-Holland in the Netherlands

Hoogwoud is easily accessible, not only for traffic from the United Kingdom but from other participating countries as well

 

How do I get there?

From the United Kingdom,

DFDS Seaways sails from Newcastle to IJmuiden once daily. The distance between IJmuiden and Hoogwoud is only 30 miles.

P & O ferries have a route from Hull to Rotterdam. The distance between Rotterdam and Hoogwould is about 75 miles

Nearest airport is Schiphol Amsterdam Distance to Hoogwoud is about 35 miles.

 

For the Rest of the World

By air, The Netherlands is most readily accessible through Schiphol Airport.

Almost all of the well-known airline companies fly to Schiphol several times each day. The distance between Schiphol Airport and Hoogwoud is 35 miles. 

It is also possible to travel to Hoogwoud using public transport. 

The three fields that will be used for the World Trial are in very close proximity
